Vladimere “Laddy” Temchack, age 90 of Smithmill, PA, died Thursday, January 22, 2026 at his home.
Born on August 3, 1935 in Smithmill, PA, he was the son of the late Wasco and Catherine (Luciew) Temchack, Sr.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Laddy enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping, and various outdoor activities.
He had worked for Ridge Equipment in Frugality, PA, Williams & Green Steel & Fabricating Company,
and Indiana Steel Company, both in Clearfield, PA, and retired from Juniata Fabricating in Bald Eagle, PA in 2002.
He was a former member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Janesville, PA.
Laddy is survived by his three children; Donald Ray Temchack (Tammy) of Smithmill, PA, Robert Wayne Temchack (Pamela) of St. Thomas, PA and Tina Lynn (Temchack) Anthony of Colorado Springs, CO, four grandchildren; Ashley Bell, Jordan Tyler Temchack (Bethany), Lindsay Rae Temchack, Rebekah Steward (Sykeem), and, six great grandchildren; Robbie, Elliott, and Wyatt, and Hayden, London, and Maddison, one sister (Arlene Folmar of Dearborn, MI), one sister in law (Lois Temchack, of Viola, PA), and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one grandson (Ryan Edward Bell), five brothers; John, Frank, Metro, Stanley, and Wasco Temchack, Jr., and five sisters; Marie Negri, Anna Temchack, Helen Chencharick, Madeline Taber, and Estella Chencharick.
There will be no public visitation.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place in St. Vladimir Ukrainian Cemetery in Ramey, PA.
