1999-2024
It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Tyler Cook, age 25, born February 2nd, 1999 to Kelly Cook and the late Tony Cook. Tyler and the love of his life Brooke Belgin were proud parents to a young son, Crue Cook. Tyler had two very supportive sisters, Erika Cauvel (Cook) and Amber Cook, who will miss him and his joy deeply. His outgoing personality and sense of humor could light up any room. He also was blessed with adoring and involved grandparents Mike and Dianne Guth, and the late Sally Cook. He was gifted with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who were ever present and willing to support him throughout his life. Tyler was fortunate to have his caring best friend, Rocco Ford Jr., who was always there for him. Tyler has now joined his beloved late family members, Aunt Pamela Cook, Grandmother Sally Cook, and Father Tony Cook.
Tyler had a great passion for sports and started by winning his very first wrestling match as a young child. He went on to achieve over 100 wins. Tyler had the privilege of being part of the Brookville High School wrestling team when they won the state championship. He also rediscovered his love of football during his senior year where he developed a strong bond and friendship with a great young man Mike Goddard (Big Mike). Tyler was a supportive and protective friend both on and off the field to him.
Although he had a great love for football and wrestling, his greatest passion came with building a future and family with the love of his life Brooke and their precious son Crue. This gave him the most joy, pride, and fulfillment in his short life. They made him the happiest his family had ever seen him. Through Brooke and Crue, he also found cherished additional family in Greg and Cortnee Reiber.
He will be forever missed, always remembered, and eternally loved.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to an account with First Commonwealth Bank to help support Tyler's greatest accomplishment in life, infant son Crue Cook, as he grows up.
