Tracy Renee (Hoffman) Hazelet
1969-2025

Tracy Renee (Hoffman) Hazelet, 56, of Mercer, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Grove at Greenville.

She was born in Punxsutawney on November 17, 1969, the daughter of Darlene Arbutus (Stark) Hoffman.  Her mother survives and resides in Mercer.

Tracy was a 1988 graduate of Mercer High School and went on to attend the Punxsy School of Beauty.

She was an amazing hair stylist that brought out beauty in her clients. Her kindness flowed as naturally as her conversation, and her chair became a place of comfort and understanding.  With gentle words and a caring heart, she seemed to understand everyone’s life simply by truly hearing them as she stood behind the chair.

Because of her deep love of the trade, her son Mario followed her path by attending Fortis Institute for barbering. She had a gift for helping everyone believe in themselves, and for that steady encouragement and unwavering faith she is remembered with deep gratitude by all who knew her.

Tracy was incredibly funny in many ways at the least expected times, she loved to laugh and was a blast to be around.  Her family deeply treasures the times and memories that they shared over the years with her.

She had a huge soft spot for dogs and animals, she enjoyed fostering them until a home could be found. She had three dogs of her own that she dearly loved, Macy Gray, Darla and “Harley Girl” who grew up with Mario.

In harmony with her free spirit, she loved to ride her Harley with the wind in her face and her cares behind her.   The hope she leaves for all  is to have goals to guide you, stars to stir you and hopes to carry on each and every day.

In addition to her mother, Darlene, she is survived by one son, Mario Vincent Manfredi and girlfriend Maddie Shirey of Greenville; one brother, Ryan (Jennifer) Hoffman of Clarks Mills; a sister by heart, Paula Webster of Mercer; beloved aunt Greta (Paul) Walker of Punxsutawney; one uncle, Gene Stark of Thomasville, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Tyler (Monica) Hoffman, Chase (Melissa) Hoffman, David Shoff and Brynn Shoff; great niece, Lennox Hoffman; several very close cousins.

In accordance with her wishes there will be no visitation.  Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held at a future date to be announced.
