Rose M. Behm, 85, of Rochester Mills, died Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.
She was born January 23, 1941, in Clymer, PA, a daughter of the late Beckie (Eshbaugh) and Frank Getty.
On June 2, 1956, she married Clyde W. Behm, who preceded her in death on October 1, 2010.
Rose worked as a Postmistress in Marchand for thirty-six years. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Punxsutawney where she sang in the choir her entire life. Rose was an avid quilter and oil painter and enjoyed sewing and gardening.
She is survived by a son Scott Behm and wife Linda of Rochester Mills; eight grandchildren, Heather Rhoades and Matthew, Michael Behm and Nicole, Steven Behm and Faith, Katie Renwick and Jake, Michael Behm, Eric Behm and Tracy, Joe Behm and Britt, and Kimberly Foster and William; fifteen great-grandchildren; and daughters-in-law Roberta Behm of Alaska and Kay Shaffer of Brookville.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Sanford, Wade and Chris Behm, grandchildren Shiloh, Becky and Andrew, brother Frank Getty, and sisters Karen Getty and Shirley Stewart.
Friend will be received from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2026, and from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2026, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2026, at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Bach officiating.
Interment will be in Marchand Cemetery.
