Robert “Rob” Ralph McKinley, 59, of DuBois, PA, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, while at his home. Rob was born on September 20, 1965, to the late Robert “Bob” and Juanita Kay McKinley in Brookville, PA. He graduated from the Brookville Area School District with the Class of 1983. He was a bartender at the Forest Way Inn and was currently the Assistant Manager at Family Dollar in DuBois. Rob was a simple man. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed wood working. He loved to cook, especially wings, chicken broccoli casserole, and steak salads. He recently took on the role of playing Santa during the holidays at Family Dollar. Above all else, Rob loved being a big brother to his sisters. Rob is survived by one stepson: Mason Jeffers; two sisters: M. Michele “Missy” Williams and Melinda (Monte West) Wiles; one aunt: Cathy Johnson; and one niece and one nephew, and numerous cousins. Rob is also survived by his coworker and friend: Hilary Peterson. In addition to his parents, Rob is preceded in passing by one nephew: Joseph “Joey” Wiles. Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm, at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
