Richard “Scott” Wachob, age 55 of Luthersburg, PA died Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at his home.
Born on October 28, 1970 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late William L. Wachob and Martha J. (Muth) Wachob. His mother survives and lives in Luthersburg, PA.
Scott was an Advanced Emergency Technician for Clearfield EMS Medic 1, and an EMT for Reynoldsville Sykesville Ambulance. He was an active member of Brady Township Fire, Rescue & Ambulance where he served as secretary.
To serve and protect was Scott’s true calling. He was an EMT and volunteer fireman for 30 years.
Scott is survived by his children (Chicgo “Andy” Callender and Matthew Wachob, both of Luthersburg, PA), one granddaughter (Takoda Callender), one brother (Michael L. Wachob and his husband Joseph Lansberry), and one uncle (Robert Wachob and his wife Judy), all of Luthersburg, PA.
He was preceded in death by his uncle Thomas Wachob.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10 AM from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
