Richard H. Russo, 82, Penfield, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his daughter’s home.

Born December 2, 1940, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Maurice and Emma (Santoro) Russo.

Richard graduated from Roxborough High School and La Salle University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In his working years, Richard was employed as a contract administer for the Department of Defense. He was Catholic by faith.

Richard is survived by two children, Richard (Linda) Russo, Grampian, and Desiree (Ken) Caliari, Penfield; six grandchildren, Zachary Heller, Stephanie Visniesky, Shelby and Saige Jurcevich, and Natalie and Lindsey Russo; two great-grandchildren, Harper and Nolan Visniesky, and his companion, Alice Taylor. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his son, Stephen M. Russo, brother, Maurice Russo, and sister, Marianne Santoro.

All services will be privately held by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
