1949-2026
Patricia L. Edner, age 76, of DuBois, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born on March 13, 1949, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Luther P. and Gloria M. (Simpson) Buhite.
Patty graduated from the DuBois Area High School class of “1967”, graduated from DuBois Business College and Clarion University with a Teachers degree.
On August 22, 1970, she married the love of her life, David W. Edner, in Sykesville, PA. They had 54 wonderful years together. He survives.
Patty enjoyed being a homemaker, was a member of DuBois Lakeside Church, enjoyed playing the piano, singing in the church choir, attended the Temporary Woman’s Club for over 50 years and was very active in church affairs.
Patty is survived by a loving family, her husband David, daughters; Rebecca Solada and Erin E. Edner both of DuBois, four grandchildren; Cassandra, Megan, Patrick and Brant, nine great-grandchildren plus one on the way, siblings; Terry L. (Marilyn) Buhite of Reynoldsville, Cheryl L. (Luke) Yoas of Sharon, PA., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, a son Eric Edner and a sister Diana L. Buhite.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at DuBois Lakeside Church at 11 AM with the Pastor Brett Dinger officiating. Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium is handling the arrangements.
