Patricia Ann Malacarne Dull, 70, of Brookville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 3, 1956, in DuBois, Pennsylvania, Pat was the daughter of the late Guido Malacarne and Margie (Harriger) Malacarne. Pat graduated from Clarion University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and later earned her Master of Education from The Pennsylvania State University in 1985. Pat dedicated nearly three decades to teaching fourth grade in the DuBois Area School District, where she inspired generations of students through her patience, kindness, and love of learning.
On April 25, 1981, Pat married Robert Grant Dull in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Together they built a life rooted in love, family, and unwavering support for one another.
Above all else, Pat cherished her family. She will be remembered first and foremost as a loving mother, devoted wife, cherished daughter, loyal sister, and faithful friend. She possessed an unpretentious and gentle spirit, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for life. Those who knew her will remember her warmth, humility, and genuine kindness.
Pat found joy in many pursuits throughout her life. She was especially passionate about gardening, volunteering in her communities (whether Brookville or Hilton Head Island), creating pastel artwork and stained glass, traveling, and spending time with her family at the beach. Whether tending her flowers, working on a creative project, or simply enjoying the company of those she loved, Pat approached every moment with kindness, grace and gratitude.
Her greatest joy was her family. She held a special place in her heart for her son, Grant; her daughter, Natalie; and her daughter-in-law, Morgan. Her love for them was constant and unconditional.
Pat is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Robert Grant Dull of Brookville; her son, Grant R. Dull and his wife, Morgan (Hays) Dull, of Pittsburgh; her daughter, Natalie M. Dull of Denver, Colorado; her brother, John Malacarne; and her sister, Susan Dolby.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Guido Malacarne 2022, and Margie Harriger Malacarne 2005.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pat’s life during visitation on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the McKinney-d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, Pennsylvania 15825.
Pat’s life was defined by countless acts of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
