Narita Jayne Adams, 66, of Punxsutawney, PA, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, while a patient at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, PA. Narita was born on August 29, 1959, to the late Luther Wayne and Alverda May (Darr) Slagle in Clarion, PA. She worked in nursing at many places including Mulbery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Punxsutawney. Narita enjoyed watching movies, shopping, and playing games on her phone. She had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Narita is survived by seven children: Christina “Tina” (Brian) Crawford, Dawn Jobe, Scott Watson, Andrew Adams, Kevin Adams, Keith Adams, and Bryon Adams; two sisters: Iolene Gilson and Loretta (Bruce) Boerman. Narita is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Narita is preceded in passing by her parents. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 11am to 1pm, at the Fait - d’Argy Funeral Home, 117 N. Jefferson St., Punxsutawney, PA 15767. A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing, beginning at 1pm, and officiated by Rev. Bill Foster.
