Myles L. Nash, age 81 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, February 12, 2026 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on November 14, 1944 in Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland, he was the son of the late Dennis and Mary “Minnie” (Coronin) Nash.
At a young age, Myles left his family home in Ireland to go to college to become a chef. He traveled around the United States as a cook before settling in DuBois.
Myles can best be remembered as the owner/operator of McDermott’s Restaurant & Pub on Main Street in Sykesville, PA. Previous to that, he was the General Manager of the DuBois Holiday Inn for many years.
He loved to golf, was a member of the DuBois Country Club, and enjoyed playing Gin Rummy
He is survived by his sister-in-law Greta Nash and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers (David, Joe, and Father Dermot), and one sister (Maura Hussey).
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 10 A.M. from Holy Spirit Parish at St. Catherine of Siena, with Fr. John Malthaner as celebrant.

Myles will be returned to his homeland of Ireland.
