Michael W. Bovaird age 72 of Brockway, PA; died on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at his residence. Born on June 28, 1953 in DuBois, PA; he was the son of the late William B. and Betty Jean Plyler Bovaird. On December 17, 1982 he was married to Debra S. Sutter and she survives. Retired, Mike had been employed as Machine Shop Supervisor at O-I/Brockway Glass for over 39 years. He enjoyed hunting and especially brush hogging at the farm. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, a sister Cecelia (Ken) Heitzenrater of Brockway; his mother-in-law Evelyn Sutter of Reynoldsville; granddaughters Katie of Brookville; Sabrina of Blairsville, PA; a grandson Sabastian of Brockway; a great granddaughter Eden Rayne; nephews Matthew Heitzenrater of Brockway; Jeff Heitzenrater of Colorado; Andy Bovaird of Pittsburgh; and a niece Becky Little of Charlotte, NC. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a son Glenn Edward Bovaird; a brother Fred Bovaird and his father-in-law Glenn Sutter. Visitation will be on Friday, December 5th from 6 PM to 8 PM and again on Saturday December 6th from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
