Maude Irene Frampton, 75, of Worthville, passed away at home on August 3, 2026.
She was born on March 28, 1951, a daughter of the late Merle and Mary (Whitesell) Shirey.
She shared a loving marriage with her sweetheart, Carl Lester Frampton, until his passing on November 17, 2022.
Mrs. Frampton was employed by the Brookville Glove Factory and later retired from Owen Illinois in Brookville.
Maude was a faithful member of the Free Grace Worship Church in Punxsutawney. Her faith guided her throughout her life, and she lived out her Christian values through her kindness and compassion towards others. She truly saw the best in everyone that she met. Maude cherished her family and loved spending time together at picnics and gatherings. She faced life's hardships with remarkable strength, enduring the losses of her beloved husband and later her son with steadfast faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed mowing her lawn and took great pride in caring for her home.
Preceded in death by parents, Merle and Mary Shirey; husband, Carl Frampton; son, Jason Frampton; sister, Mamie Lou Reitz; and brothers, James, Thomas, and Edward Shirey.
Maude is survived by daughter, Dianna (Dave Bowers) Frampton of Summerville; son, Steve (Bobbi Jo) Frampton of Punxsutawney; daughter-in-law, Tabitha Frampton of Juneau; grandchildren, Natasha Davis, Lakin Lowe, Jeffrey Peterman Jr., Brittany Glatt, Steven Frampton Jr., Brianna Stiver, Masie Brownlee, Kendra Carlson, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are private and entrusted to the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
