Mary Ann McClelland, age 86 of Reynoldsville, PA died Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Laurelbrooke Landing in Brookville, PA.
Born on January 11, 1940 in Perry MO, she was the daughter of the late Malone and Mary (Caruso) Yancey.
On December 17, 1957 she married her husband of 68 years, William McClelland. He survives.
Mary Ann retired as a teacher’s aide for special needs students in both the DuBois Area and Brockway Area School Districts.
She was a member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church where she was very active in church affairs.
Mary Ann loved to go camping every weekend. She had so many good memories with her family and friends camping “up on the hill.” She was a member of the Appalachian Wagon Train Association. Along with her husband and family, Mary Ann made many trips with the Association with their covered wagon, and team of horses. She had also served on the Brockway Area School Board, and was the Washington Township Auditor for many years. Mary Ann was a 4-H Leader in Jefferson County for several years.
Along with her husband, Mary Ann is survived by her children (Julie Sirohman and her husband Tony of Louisville, KY, Steve McClelland and his wife Kathy of Brockway, PA, Dan McClelland and his wife Leanna, and Scott McClelland , both of Reynoldsville, PA), five grandchildren (Katie, Joey, Mitch, Dylan, and Nathan), one brother (Robert Yancey of Miami, FL) and one sister (Sharon Kirkwood of Greensburg, PA).
She was preceded in death by her sister (Pat Gundrum), and her daughter-in-law (Beth McClelland).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 2 -4 and 6 -8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 10 AM from Holy Spirit Parish at St. Bernard, Falls Creek, PA with Fr. John Malthaner as celebrant.
Burial will be in Beechwoods Cemetery.
