Mark Van Felton, 57, of Punxsutawney passed away Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
He was born in Punxsutawney on July 15th, 1968, a son of the late Merle “Pete” Felton, and Linda (Stellabuto) Young-Conser.
Mark was a 1986 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School and later graduated from Dubois Business College with an Associate Degree in Computer Technology.
On February 14th, 2009, married the love of his life, Shawnda (Kearney) Felton, with whom he enjoyed 17 years of marriage.
Mark worked in the powdered pressed metals industry and was employed for over 18 years by Brockway Pressed Metals, and later by MPP.
He loved to ride his motorcycle, and spend time with his 7 furry friends, especially his St. Bernard, Lokie. Their companionship meant a great deal to him, and anyone who knew Mark knew how important they were in his life.
He is survived by wife, Shawnda Felton of Punxsutawney; son, Thomas Pisoni of Silverdale, Washington; brother, Troy (Denise) Young of Punxsutawney; niece, Meghen (Dylan) Filler of Punxsutawney; and great nephews Liam and Easton.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father.
In accordance with family wishes, arrangements are private and entrusted to the care of Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
