Logan Earl Claycomb age 91 a Horizon Drive Brockway, PA resident, died on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor in Brookville. Born on February 19, 1935 in Pleasantville, PA; he was the son of the late Clark and Mary Swan Claycomb. On September 23, 1972 he was married to Ethel V. Brown and she preceded him in death on August 19, 2024. Retired, Logan had been employed as a Machinist in the Hot End at Owens/Brockway Glass for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 until 1959. Logan was a lifetime member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and being in the outdoors. His passion though was fly fishing and he enjoyed numerous trips to New Zealand on fly fishing expeditions. He also was a member of Trout Unlimited and he could be found in any of the local and not so local trout streams. He also took great pride in keeping the property around his house such as the shrubs trimmed properly, the flower beds weeded, and the grass manicured to perfection. His greatest enjoyment was just spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Logan is survived by daughters Dorothy Collins of Hanover, PA; Barbara Cherubini of Brockway and a son Kenneth Claycomb of Falls Creek, PA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife he is also preceded in death by a daughter Virginia Jones; a son Billy Price and a granddaughter Darlene Hamm. There will be no public visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 1:00 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway with Rev. Lance Tucker officiating. Full Military Honors will be accorded by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion Honor Guard immediately following the service.
