Kevin Plummer Sr. passed away at his home in Reynoldsville on Monday, September 7, 2026. He was 63 years old.
Kevin was born on March 24, 1963, to parents Clarence and Regina Plummer, in Altoona, PA, where he grew up with six siblings on his family’s dairy farm. Kevin married his high school sweetheart, Holly (Moyer), also a farmgirl, in 1983, and completed their family with three children soon after. Kevin and Holly worked and farmed together their entire 43 years of marriage, and established their own family farm, Plum-Hollow Dairy Farm, in Summerville in 1990. In 2000, the family relocated to Reynoldsville, where they continued building their legacy and farming together.
Kevin was well-known and respected in the local farming community and was a great friend to many. One of his favorite titles was “Pap Pap” – he adored his six grandchildren and they loved their Pap. He especially enjoyed taking them on gator rides around the farm and sneaking them as much cheese as they could eat. He loved John Deere tractors, hunting, and was famous for growing the best sweet corn around for nearly four decades.
Preceded in death by his parents, his brothers (Keith and Karl Plummer), and his granddaughter (Gabrielle Plummer). He is survived by his wife, son Kevin (Erin) Jr, daughter Sherry (Edmond Karasa), and son Bryan, as well as ten grandchildren (Addison and Grace Plummer, Mason Plummer, Audrey Copenhaver, and Mila and Ella Karasa and Izaiah, Ryan, Noah, and Madison Kanouff). He is also survived by 5 brothers and sisters (Kenny, Karen, Kim, Kris, and Kurt) and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who adored him.
As Kevin wished, a small private service will be held for immediate family. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 3, Reynoldsville, PA 15851 or to your local fire department.
