John E. Beam, Age 82 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Butler Hospital in Butler, PA.
Born on June 3, 1943 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel R. and Beulah (Dush) Beam.
John was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War.
He retired from Fairman Drilling as a driller after 10 years of service. Previous to that, he had worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
John was a member of the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17, the James J. Patterson Post 813 VFW, and the Sandy Hose Company # 1 Fireman’s Club.
John is survived by two sisters (Gloria Gross and her husband Wayne of Monroe, North Carolina, and Karen Henry and her husband Mark of Rockton, PA), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother (Donald Beam), and sister (Louise Kessler).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Dick Hertlein officiating.
Full military honors will be accorded from the funeral home by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard.
Burial will follow in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
