Jennie M. Knox, age 87 a Broad Street Ext. Brockway, PA resident, died on Monday, June 1, 2026 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on May 12, 1939 in Reynoldsville, PA; she was the daughter of the late Lee and Esther E. Fye Kessler. She was married to John H. Knox Sr. and he preceded her in death on May 17, 1991. Retired, Jennie had been employed at Brockway Glass, and later on she worked at Riverside in DuBois, now Giant Eagle. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, solving word puzzles, and taking daily walks through Brockway. Jennie is survived by sons Lee (Patty) Knox of Falls Creek, PA; Jack (Melissa) Knox of Brockway; Raymond Knox of Ephrata, PA; Gary Knox of Scranton, PA; step-son John (Chrissy) Knox Jr. of Indiana, PA; step-daughter May Ruth Knox also of Brockway; and a sister Gloria (Stuart) Annabel of Virginia. She is also survived by grandchildren John Henry Know III; Ericka (Tim) Knox; Melissa (Jin) Liu; Macy Knox; Nathan Knox; Johnathan (Natalia) Knox; Kaitlyn Knox and great grandchildren Mengmei Liu; Jian Liu; Lillian and Allison Roberts. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by brothers Ace and Lee Kessler. There will be no public visitation. A private Funeral Service will be held with Marilyn Nutt and Hannah Bythrow officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
