Jean Ann Marando, 84, DuBois, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Penn Highlands in DuBois. She was born March 21, 1941, in DuBois, PA; the daughter of the late Thomas jr & Ann (Niovich) Marando. She married Samuel DiGennaro, who preceded her in death in 1985.
She leaves behind a son James “Jim” DiGennaro, and a brother James “Elvis” Marando, both of DuBois.
Jean was a graduate of DuBois Catholic School and had previously worked as a secretary for the DuBois Hospital. She enjoyed reading magazines, drawing, watching television and her pets.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was also preceded in death by a brother Charles “Tom” Marando.
There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.
