Irma Jean (Yohe) Swab, 84, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026. Irma was born on March 17, 1941, to the late Enoch and Cora (Fye) Yohe in Soldier, PA. She graduated from Sykesville High School. She worked in home interior sales, was a driver for meals on wheels, and a driver for the Blood Transport Company. Irma was also a homemaker, taking care of her home and family. Irma married the love of her life, James Donald Swab, on July 1, 1961; Don preceded her in passing on August 12,2024. She was a member of the Brookville Calvary Church of the Nazarene. Irma loved her family and church. She was a loving wife and mother. She adored her animals and would say they are little people with 4 legs. Irma was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Irma is survived by two children: Kimberly Swab Hempel and Douglas Kevin Swab; two brothers: Raymond Yohe and Russell Yohe; five grandchildren: Bethany Rachelle Reilly, Sherilyn Ashley Hansley, Jodi Hempel, Mike (Reetu) Bok, and Devin (Kayla) Hempel. Irma is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Alonia, Curtis, Aniyah, Kayden, Kip, Dane, and Carter. In addition to her parents and husband, Irma is preceded in passing by two brothers: Robert and infant Irvin; and four sisters: Ruth Yohe, Betty Henneman, Doris Zellers, and Helen Reynolds. Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12pm to 3pm at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing, beginning at 3pm, and officiated by Pastor Jimmy Swogger.
