Harry R. AurandDuBois, PA

Harry R. Aurand, 92, DuBois, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Christ the King Manor.

Born September 3, 1930, he was the son of the late Harry C. and Mary (Doutt) Aurand.

On January 1, 1970, he married Judith “Judy” (Trezise) Aurand at the United Church of Christ in DuBois. She survives.

Harry graduated from the DuBois Area High School and served in the U.S. Army. For many years, he worked as an orderly for the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Harry was a Scoutmaster for four years and enjoyed woodworking. He attended First Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by two cdaughters, Mary Jane Aurand, DuBois, and Nancy (Scott) Mowrey, Sykesville; two grandchildren, Hannah and Adam Mowrey; a sister, Nancy Heffner, DuBois, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Trezise, DuBois.

There will be no public visitation. A memorial service is planned for a later date. Interment will be in Luthersburg-Union Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
