Gary Thomas Crooks, 76, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, while a patient at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh, PA. Gary was born on February 28, 1950, to the late Thomas and Hazel (Garthwaite) Crooks in DuBois, PA. He graduated from DuBois Area High School with the Class of 1968. He graduated from Penn College Tech School in Williamsport, PA in plumbing and heating. He worked most of his life at Triangle Auto Springs in the shipping department. Gary married Annette Marie Marchioni on October 6, 1973, in Reynoldsville; Annette survives him. He was a member of the of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Reynoldsville and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #540. Gary had a great sense of humor and loved to socialize with his family and friends. He loved golfing at Beechwoods Golf Course and in his earlier years enjoyed playing football, baseball, and softball. He enjoyed watching all sports: baseball, football, hockey, and golf. In addition to Annette, Gary is survived by six nieces: Melissa (Steven) Orr, Emily (Shane) Ford, Alyssa (Chris) Young, Oliva Marchioni, Amanda Marchioni, Natalie (Chip) Beiner; and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in passing by one daughter: Tracy Elizabeth Crooks; one son: Todd Matthew Crooks; one sister: Dianne Miller; and one nephew: Joshua Miller. As Gary requested, there will be no services held. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Reynoldsville Ambulance, PO Box 247, Reynoldsville, PA 15851, or to Beechwoods Golf Course, 1618 Airport Road, Falls Creek, PA 15840, or to the donor’s choice.
