Frank Angelo Esposito, 67, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Mulberry Square Healthcare.
He was born in Punxsutawney on May 31, 1958, the son of the late Emilio Esposito and Consetta Lucille (Ferra) Esposito.
Frank was a 1976 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School.
Following graduation, Frank served in the United States Navy.
Some may fondly remember Frank from Punxsy Video, a business he opened years ago, where customers could always count on a friendly smile, good conversation, and great movie recommendations. His second career as a card dealer at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut was where he enjoyed the energy, excitement and the chance to meet new faces every day. He also enjoyed working at Walmart when he returned to Punxsutawney.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Punxsutawney, a place where he loved to spend time and made many friends over the years.
Frank was big-hearted, he paid attention to others, noticing when someone needed encouragement, support or even just a laugh.
He is survived by three sisters, Carmella (Rusty) Prendergast of Connecticut, Patricia Perry of Punxsutawney and Amelia McGuire of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.
Preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Frances “Fran” Esposito and brother in-law Harold Perry.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
