Edward Glen Huey, 72, of Punxsutawney, PA, passed away during the early morning hours of September 5, 2026, while a patient at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Ed was born on October 4, 1953, to Harry E. and Bonnie Jean (Pierce) Huey in Punxsutawney. He graduated from the Punxsutawney Area High School and worked for Acme Machine & Welding. Ed married Donna Pifer; Donna survives him.
Ed was a simple man. He enjoyed being outside hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a gentle person and was kind to everyone. In addition to his wife and mother,
Ed is survived by one daughter: Melissa A. (Chris) Oskin; and one brother: Greg (Debbie) Huey. Ed is preceded in passing by his father.
All services were held privately to the family and have been entrusted to the Fait – d’Argy Funeral Home, 117 N. Jefferson Street, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
