Dorothy J. Ross, 93, DuBois, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born July 10, 1931, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Clara (Bundy) Duttry.
On June 3, 1952, she married Kenneth H. Ross in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1990.
Dorothy was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren. Dorothy was a member of the Community of Christ Church.
Dorothy is survived by three children, Ronald Ross Sr., DuBois, Kenneth E. Ross, Pittsburgh, and Rebecca (Lee) Sayers, DuBois, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a brother, Larry Duttry, Sabula.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by two sons, John and Daniel Ross, two brothers, and five sisters.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
