Doris Ann Sands, age 77, of DuBois, PA, passed away on April 9, 2026, at Christ the King Manor.
Born on July 30,1948, in Fairbury, Il., she was the daughter of the late Cloyd and Nola (Huber) Wilson.
On June 8, 1968, in Fairbury, Il., she married Daniel G. Sands, he preceded her in passing on April 15, 2008.
Doris graduated from Fairbury Cropsey High School, did secretarial work but her greatest joy was being a homemaker, she was a member of Shepards Grace Chapel of Fall Creek, attended Bible Studies, was a devoted servant and member who loved the Lord. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor, also loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving family; Eric (Victoria) Sands of Colorado Springs, Co. and Greg (Jean) Sands of DuBois, sixteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and her brother Robert (Rae Anne) Wilson of Fl.
Doris was preceded by her parents and husband.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Shepard’s Grace Chapel, 320 Main Street Falls Creek, Pa., with the Rev. Jean Sands officiating.
Adamson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
