David M. Brown, Jr. age 59 of Brookville, PA (Hazen) died Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor.
Born on January 6, 1967 in Gloucester, MA, he was the son of the late David M. and Bonnie (Salada) Brown, Sr.
On March 17, 2016 he married Elsa (Flynn) Brown. She survives.
David was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served his country for 16 years including two tours in Iraq. He retired as a Gunnery Seargent. After his service, he entered the private sector as an Enterprise Architect at Peraton, Inc. a company supporting the Marines.
David enjoyed flying remote helicopters and airplanes. He especially loved spending time with his dog Leo.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one niece Alyssa, and one nephew Ian, and his step-daughter Clara Hope.
David was preceded in death by one brother Llewellyn “Keith” Brown.
As per David’s wishes, there will be no public visitation, and a service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery in Quantico, VA at a later date.
