1959-2025
David A. Lunger, 66, of DuBois, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at his home.
Born October 14, 1959, in St. Marys, he was the son of the late Edward and Florence (Johnson) Lunger.
Dave was a high school graduate, retired mechanic for the Area Transportation Authority where he worked for 13 years.
He lived a simple life, camping was his happy place, enjoyed hunting and watching Penn State lose. Dave’s whole world revolved around his family, Diane, Justin and Josh, he was devoted to spending time with his family.
Dave is survived by his loving family, his devoted companion of 39 years, Diane Vonarx, his sons, Justin (Sarah) Lunger of Brockway and Joshua Lunger of DuBois, a brother Mark (Faye) Lunger of St Marys, a sister Diane (Kenneth) Wolff of Daguscahonda, and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents and a brother, Michael Lunger.
