Chad Patrick Nadji, 54, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, while a patient at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Chad was born on May 5, 1971, to John Patrick and Rebecca “Becky” Sue (Ball) Nadji in DuBois, PA. He graduated from DuBois Area High School with the Class of 1989. He continued his education and graduated from Penn State Behrend in 1993. He worked as a probation officer for Jefferson County for over ten years. Chad married the love of his life, Megan LaRue Cypher on September 14, 2018; Megan survives him. He was a member of SOI in Brockway. Chad was an avid Notre Dame fan. He was quick witted and loved to make people laugh. Chad enjoyed going camping and sitting around the campfire. He also spent time golfing and hunting. Above all else, Chad was extremely proud of his family and adored his son, Jase. He also loved his two dogs, Lady Bug and Ozzy. In addition to his mother and wife, Chad is survived by one son: Jase Patrick Nadji; one sister: Kim (Tim) VanHorn; two aunts: Carol Nadji and Dixie (Jim) Denny; mother and father-in-law: Dave and Teresa Buss; brothers-in-law: Nathan (Amanda) Cypher and D.C. (Bobbi) Buss; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, Chad is preceded in passing by his maternal and paternal grandparents and one uncle: Jim Ball. Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 3pm to 7pm, at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, also at the funeral home, beginning at 11am and officiated by Pastor Jim Fillhart.
