Carol L. Kness

Carol L. Kness, age 76, of Reynoldsville, passed away on Tuesday, October, 6, 2026, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born on March 9, 1950, in Indiana Pa, she was the daughter of the late Richard D. and Ruthann (Sinclair) Cochran.

Carol Graduated from the DuBois Area High School Class of 1969.

Carol married the love of her life Robert “Bob” Kness, on July 26, 1975. Together they celebrated 51 wonderful years of marriage.

Carol delighted in being a homemaker, as well as cooking and baking for her family and friends. Carol was methodist by Faith, and played a vital role in the community by being a part of many organizations such as being the Treasurer and Secretary of the Reynoldsville Eagles, a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, and The Treasurer the of Coal Hill Truck and Antique Tractor Association.

Carol is Survived by her loving family, her husband Bob; her two daughters, Dawn (Kness) Long of Brookville, and Bonnie J. (Sam) Boyd, of Kelso Tennessee, Grandchildren; Keirstin (Clayton) Emery, and Braeden (Grace) Long, and Great-Grandchildren; Weston Emery and Carter Emery. She is also survived by brothers David O. (Lee) Cochran of Georgia, and Robert Cochran of DuBois, as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews. Carol also loved all of her friends who became family.

She was preceded by her parents, Richard and Ruthann.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 1 PM – 4 PM, followed by a service at 4 PM, at The Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. Interment will be in Rockton Cemetery.
