Beverly E. Thomas, age 87 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
Born on November 2, 1938 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and June (Troy) McLaughlin.
On August 13, 1958 she married her husband of 67 years, Wayne E. Thomas. He survives.
Beverly was a homemaker. She retired from the DuBois Nursing Home Dietary Department after many years of service. After her retirement, she took on the most important “job” of caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Together with her husband, Beverly had been very active in the Bible Fellowship Church, and Community Bible Church in Rockton. They led church youth groups on many summer trips.
Along with her husband, Beverly is survived by her children (Joel Thomas and his wife Sandra of DuBois, PA, Penny Buterbaugh and her husband Ken of Colorado Springs, CO, Juanita Painter of DuBois, PA, and Nicole Thomas of Chestnut Grove, PA), twenty-four grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and one sister (Flora Mae LeClair of Tarpon Springs, FL).
She was preceded in death by one grandson (Joel Thomas, Jr.)
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 11 AM from the funeral home with Brian Spencer officiating.
Burial will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
