Beth Arlene Crawford (Wiser) of Falls Creek entered into eternal life
Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at her home surrounded by family and friends.
Beth was born August 22, 1944 in Falls Creek, PA, the third of four children of Gerald C. and M. Evelyn (Reddinger) Wiser of Falls Creek, PA. Beth grew up in Falls Creek, PA, where she attended Falls Creek Primary School. She graduated from DuBois Area High School in 1962 and immediately continued her education at Clarion State College. Beth graduated from Clarion with a degree in English in just three years so she could marry the love of her life, Tom. She and Tom did marry on May 25, 1965. Beth made her home with Tom in the Rockdale area of Falls Creek for 61 years. It was from there that she and Tom and their family shared many cherished memories.
Beth was a member, Sunday School teacher, Deacon, and Elder at The Falls Creek Presbyterian Church. She was a 4-H leader for the Beechwoods Saddle Club and a member of the Western Pennsylvania Dachshund Club. Beth also worked for 25 years as an instructor at the DuBois Business College. In all facets of her life, Beth gave generously of her time, talents, and heart. Her kindness and loving spirit touched many lives in her community and indeed throughout the world. Beth will be deeply missed.
Beth is survived by her husband, Thomas Robert Crawford of Falls Creek and her sister, Marla Newman of DuBois. She is also survived by a son, Luke (Cathy) Crawford of Luthersburg, a daughter, Tori (Jeff) Conway of Burnet, TX, three grandchildren, Nathaniel James (Anne) Crawford of Bellefonte, Morgan Joseph Crawford of Pittsburgh, PA, and Erin Elizabeth (Aaron) Barraclough of Rocky Grove, PA. She is also survived by a great-grandson, Samuel Thomas Crawford, a sister-in-law, Mona (Robert) Reynolds, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Beth was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Gerald and Kenneth
Wiser.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026
at 11:00 AM at the Falls Creek Presbyterian Church, officiated by the
Reverend Mick Chittester.
