Yoke Cafe Open in Historic Luthersburg Building

LUTHERSBURG – A piece of Luthersburg history has come back to life with the opening of the Yoke Cafe and Event Center.

Located at 10 Luthersburg Rockton Road in the former Merchant’s Hotel building. Originally built in the late 1800’s and later known as the Golden Yoke restaurant in the 1940s, now owner of the Yoke Cafe and Event Center Gavin Hoover has turned his passion for coffee into a space for you to enjoy.

“I’ve worked with Aegis Coffee Roasters for nine years now,“ explained Hoover. “And I’m still a partner with them, and we still work together. We proudly serve Aegis Coffee here at my cafe now. It’s a passion of mine, and I’m happy to serve here in Luthersburg.”

Now open as the Yoke Cafe and Event Center, you can enjoy coffee, sandwiches, and a cozy atmosphere in a historic place.
