Yard equipment stolen from locked shed in Sykesville

Sykesville, PA – Someone broke into a shed in Sykesville, stealing several pieces of yard equipment.

The unknown thief entered a locked shed at Sugar Camp Alley and Coolspring Avenue in Sykesville around 2:40 a.m. Dec. 31.

The person stole two Stihl-brand backpack leaf blowers, two Stihl chainsaws, a six-gallon gas tank, a case of gas mix, one Stihl hedge trimmer, and one Stihl trim saw.

The property owner, a 77-year-old Sykesville man, noticed the items were missing and called police.
