DUBOIS – The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League celebrated a major milestone this week, 10 years of helping children in the DuBois area.
Since their launch, coach Aaron Beatty and his team has become a cornerstone for young people, offering a constructive and safe place away from negative influences.
“Having a safe space with people that you can count on, and you can trust, I think that makes all the difference in the world,“ explained Beatty. “When I think of the kids, and what this place provides, it breaks down barriers of all different kinds.”
Looking to the future, their mission remains the same; to continue to be a haven for anyone who needs a place to build confidence, learn discipline, and form lasting friendships.
