Woodland man wanted for burglary, assault, gun charges

Lawrence Township, PA – A Clearfield County man is wanted after allegedly aiming a firearm at a woman, discharging the gun near her, and fleeing.

Lawrence Township Police officers were called to a domestic incident on Wednesday morning on 19th Street near Clearfield.

By the time they arrived, 59-year-old Ralph Best from Woodland had fled the scene.

He’s accused of entering a woman’s house, fighting with her, and aiming a firearm at her. They struggled, causing the firearm to discharge before Best fled.

Police have obtained a warrant for Best on charges of burglary, aggravated assault, trespassing, possession of a prohibited firearm, and other related charges.
