Wood shop catches fire in Benezette

Benezette Township, PA – A wood shop in Elk County was destroyed in a fire on Tuesday, causing $365,000 of damage.

Fire crews were called to the wooden building being used as a wood shop along Winslow Hill Road in Benezette Township just after 9 p.m. Tuesday.

It’s owned by 59-year-old David McCluskey from Benezette.

The investigation continues into the cause of that fire.
