Banks Township, PA – Yet again, police are warning you to be careful when buying anything through an online marketplace, especially the sale of pets which can frequently be a scam.
In nearby Indiana County, a 38-year-old Glen Campbell woman attempted to purchase a dog for $300 from an unknown person on Facebook.
It turned out to be a scam, and she lost the money.
The investigation is ongoing.
