Woman injured in Clearfield County crash with tri-axle truck

Boggs Township, PA – A woman was injured in a car crash after pulling out from a stop sign in front of a tri-axle truck in Clearfield County.

24-year-old Alexis Wenner from Ramey, PA, had been driving on Crooked Sewer Road in Boggs Township (eastern part of Clearfield County) on March 7.

She pulled out from a stop sign at the intersection with Old Erie Pike, pulling into the path of a Peterbilt tri-axle truck driven by 51-year-old Dennis Hackett from Curwensville.

The two vehicles collided.

Both drivers had been wearing their seat belts.

The truck driver was not injured.

Wenner was taken to Penn Highlands Clearfield with injuries of unknown severity. She’s charged with not obeying traffic signs.
