Brookville, PA – A woman is charged with stealing checks from the father of her child in his home on Parochial Street in Brookville while he wasn’t there.
The man told Brookville Borough Police that his child’s mother does not live at the home with them.
He says the unnamed 27-year-old woman had issued herself two checks and signed them with his name.
He also showed police the registration card for his vehicle, on which his signature had been traced over numerous times.
Multiple used syringes were found in a closet in the bedroom, where the man said the woman had likely used drugs.
The woman has been charged for forgery and theft.
