PUNXSUTAWNEY – A traffic stop in Jefferson County for a non-working brake light led to the arrest of a 35-year-old woman on DUI and child endangerment charges.
According to court documents, State Police pulled over a vehicle driven by Samantha Gray in Punxsutawney. Troopers say two children were in the back seat of the vehicle. A field sobriety test allegedly revealed that Gray was under the influence of drugs, and police say Gray admitted to using a THC pen prior to being stopped. Blood tests on Gray recently confirmed that THC was in her system.
Three counts of DUI, two counts of child endangerment, and two traffic violations have been filed against Gray. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 5th.
