DUBOIS – A DuBois woman is facing assault charges after allegedly attacking a Penn Highlands East nurse.
On August 14th police responded to the hospital after receiving reports that a nurse was attacked. After investigation police learned that 31 year-old Emily Gustafson was in the adult unit where she allegedly became agitated and attacked a nurse, pulling her hair and striking her in the head, chest, and arms before being restrained and sedated.
Gustafson is now facing multiple felony level assault charges.
