CLEARFIELD – One woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting a nurse and threatening to kill police.
According to police, on January 24th they responded to Penn Highlands Clearfield after receiving reports that a patient assaulted a nurse.
Once on scene police learned an unnamed 36 year-old woman struck a nurse multiple times in the torso. While investigating, the woman became agitated with police and threatened to take an officer’s gun and shoot them before assaulting an officer.
She has now been charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and harassment.
