HomeLocal NewsWindmill “superloads” may cause traffic delays in Clearfield CountyWindmill “superloads” may cause traffic delays in Clearfield CountyWed, November 2, 2022 by Louise BennettSHARE NOW CLEARFIELD – Four more slow-moving windmill “superloads” will travel Clearfield County’s major roadways today and tomorrow, creating possible traffic delays.According to PennDOT, two loads will be coming through today and two on Thursday.The “superloads” will travel the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 from Falls Creek Exit 97 to Clearfield Exit 120, then onto Routes 879, 322 and 153.Additional “superloads” are planned to travel through Clearfield County over the next few weeks as parts and supplies are moved from the Port of Erie to a location near Tyrone.
