Western Pennsylvania author donates book proceeds to Jefferson-Clarion Head Start

BROOKVILLE – The Head Start program in Jefferson County has been given a $7,500 donation – the proceeds of two years-worth of book sales for a Western Pennsylvania author.

The net proceeds from the sale of three children’s books authored by Pam Rak were donated to the Jefferson-Clarion Head Start so that the organization can provide books to students in the program.

Rak’s three books are “Pam/Anne Restaurant,” “Christmas Treedition,” and “The Battle of Snowball.”

Rak’s partnership with Jefferson-Clarion Head Start will continue into 2023, with two new books launching in April and October.
