DuBois, PA – This weekend is packed with events, including the DuBois High School play, the DuBois Chamber Business Bash, WinterFest at the Parker Dam State Park, a hockey tournament to benefit a teen with ovarian cancer, a breakfast to benefit an animal rescue, and registration for boxers who will be competing in the upcoming WPAL Golden Gloves tournament.

WPAL Fitness Center
Registration and Weigh-Ins for this year’s Western PA Golden Gloves tournament will be held from 10am-Noon on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the WPAL Fitness Center. Cost for non-WPAL competitors is #5.

Freeze Your Gizzard 5K at Parker Dam State Park

There’s no better way to kick off our WinterFest 2020 Weekend at Parker Dam State Park than with our Freeze Your Gizzard 5K on Saturday, Jan. 25. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. at the Beach House. Cost is $20.

Randy Carlson Memorial Hockey Tournament

Help raise proceeds for Daisy Ramono, a 17-year old with stage 3B Ovarian cancer, by going to a Chinese Auction and Penguin ticket contest at the Reynoldsville Rollerdrome from 8am until 5 pm on Saturday January 25, 2020.

Caught In the Act
Now – Sat, Jan 25 at 9:00pm
DuBois Area High School
DAHS proudly presents Caught in the Act by Pat Cook, the story of play… as a play. A director is blackmailed into directing a show, causing all kinds of funny mishaps and missed cues! The show will run from January 23 through January 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the DAHS auditorium. You may purchase tickets at the door. $5 for adults. $3 for students and seniors.

DuBois Chamber Business Bash

The DuBois Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Bash on Saturday, January 25th, 2020 at DuBois Country Club. They are currently accepting reservations to this Celebration! The cost is $39 per person or $75 per couple. Help them to honor the award winners of the Small Business of the Year, Community Cup and the DuBois Area Jaycees Distinguished Service Award!

The Small Business of the Year will be given to KMA Remarketing Corporation, Dana Smith and team. The Community Cup will go to Atlas Pressed Metals, Jude Pfingstler and team. The Jaycees Distinguished Service Member award remains a secret until the night of the event. This year, the DuBois Chamber is also celebrating their 75th anniversary!

Ravioli dinner to benefit Hermansky-Pudlock Syndrome

The Troia Social Club in St. Marys will be having a ravioli dinner on Sunday, Jan. 26, from 11:15 a.m. till sold out at Queen of the World Church cafeteria (134 Queens Road, St Marys) to benefit Hermansky- Pudlock Syndrome. Cost is $10.00 per dinner. Includes a salad, roll and butter and a dessert. This is dine in with take out available.
