DUBOIS – Almost half a million dollars in state funding is heading to the DuBois area to support critical water system improvements.
The Sandy Township Municipal Authority received $391,000 dollars to replace aging waterlines along Jefferson Avenue.
The City of DuBois received $62,000 dollars to upgrade security at the DuBois Water Plant.
Spearheaded by Senator Wayne Langerholc and State Representative Mike Armanini, they believe this will help maintain safe, dependable water service in the area.
