Wanted Punxsy man found after reported theft, weapon threat

Punxsutawney, PA – A Punxsutawney man has been found and taken into custody after police asked for the public’s help finding him after he allegedly attempted to steal a dirt bike and brandished a weapon at the victim.

25-year-old Haden Cole Roy was found yesterday and will face charges of terroristic threats and likely other charges related to the crime.

The incident started on Saturday at a home along Winslow Road in Gaskill Township as a domestic disturbance.

Officers alleged that Roy attempted to steal a dirt bike from the residence before an argument ensued between him and the victim.

Roy reportedly then produced a semiautomatic handgun and pointed it at the victim.

No shots were reported to have been fired or any injuries sustained.

Punxsutawney State Police want to say thank you to everyone who helped locate Roy.
