DUBOIS – The DuBois Jaycees are encouraging you to get involved in hands-on service projects that support the DuBois Area.

Jaycees President Michaela Loy explained that this volunteer group is made of young professionals between the ages of 18 to 40 who focus on community driven fundraising and service.

The group organizes scholarships, the annual DuBois Easter Egg Hunt, spring cleanups, and a reverse lottery to fund Thanksgiving groceries for those in need

“Everything we do goes back to the community,” explained Loy. “All of our fundraising events we do throughout the year, service projects, everything supports local families.”

In addition to volunteer efforts, Jaycees also gives you opportunities to build leadership skills through teamwork, public service, and nonprofit involvement.

The DuBois Jaycees meet on the third Tuesday of each month at the DuBois YMCA and invite everyone from Brockway to Clearfield to get involved and make a difference.
